A VINTAGE SHOP: PIXEL 10

about 8 minutes from my apartment is the greatest vintage shop that has ever been known to man. we made an appointment with Stu from Pixel 19 a few weeks ago and were so excited to go check out his supply. we've heard great things about him from numerous friends and websites so my hopes were pretty high and holy sh*t this guy did not disappoint.

floor to ceiling, in every nook and cranny of his house, were trunks and tables stacked full of vintage. vintage everything. t shirts, sunglasses, furniture, art, shoes and anything else you could possibly imagine. we were there for THREE HOURS and didn't even come close to making even the slightest dent in his inventory. this guy knows his way around a vintage collection, let me tell you. with vendors coming to him from all across the world (he may have name dropped a celeb name or two) i felt like total royalty to be able to rummage thru his treasures. no matter how much money or time someone wants to put into their trip, he is more than generous and welcoming. i mean, we are just two kids with a little bit of extra cash to throw around and he couldn't have been more knowledgable and nice.

if anyone has a special place in their heart for an old suitcase or loves the hunt for that perfect t shirt (all of us, right?) look him up on google PIXEL 19 VINTAGE and set up an appointment. here's just a few pictures. oh, and did i mention this is HIS HOUSE that he lives in? like... you can look at/buy things from his kitchen, bathroom and bedroom? unfreakingreal.
