i don't know what the weather is like where you are, but around here- it's completely gone bonkers! it's march! and i'm wearing long john underwear and scarves on our walk to lunch. i got a phone call at 5 this morning telling me that class was cancelled campus wide- hell yes!! so jon and i got to enjoy the whole day together. we walked around northside a lot, checked out the new bike shop (where jon ordered a new bicycle!) and went to Django's for lunch. the pork tacos are to die for, if you ever get a chance to go there. sooo yea, these are just a few pictures i snapped today on our walk. snow, slush, freezing toes. it's crazy! go home weather, you're drunk!!
Seriously. Glad you got a day of enjoyment out of it though! All I did was shovel and complain :)

Deleteive told you this before, your pictures are to die for. what lens do you use? and do you ever feel silly pulling out a big ole camera and snapping shots while youre out?

aw thanks michelle! i use a 50 mm. and yeah, i use to i feel like a goon bringing out my camera everywhere, but now i'm pretty use to it. i might get a weird stare every now and then and some people will ask "so who do you shoot for?" (i got that question while taking these photos!) but i just say "oh this is just my hobby! i'm a blogger!" and i go on about my business. i've taken photos in restaurants and then they find my blog later online and say thank you for the great photos and comments! it's fun!!
DeleteIts like that here too (Southern Alberta, Canada) but its always like this into March. March is the worst because we'll get beautiful Spring weather and then the next day winter weather. It teases us like that for most of the month.
